Just its good vehicle air conditioning is no reason to buy a vehicle, but a bad air con-ditioning can be a reason to repent the purchase.
In the cost analysis of the supplier and the OEM the plastic elements of the vehicle air conditioning system do not show up as the primary cost drivers related to the pro-duction material and manufacturing costs.
However the technically correct execution is crucial for the experiencable comfort and the stable quality impression at the customer. To invest into this field implicates cost potentials and competition advantages at short notice.
Exactly here M.TEC supports the supplier as well as the OEM in the process chain with its plastic and flow technical know-how.
Our service already begins in the conception phase, in which we convince by project management, creative methods and FMEA, and continues in the construction and simulation phase, e.g. CFD, FE and MoldFlow analysis. Thereby we help to avoid er-rors, which turn out as cost drivers or quality-reducing factors in the later process. Today these effects are of outstanding importance for a smooth ramp up and a long-term-stable mass production.
The examination of the degree of ripeness of the prototypes and the quality of the current series by accurate and vehicle near measurement of all important statement factors is made supplementing on our test stand.
For this we have developed a test stand, which helps to uncover weaknesses, to re-pair them and to let the experiences flow as "lessons learned" into further product op-timizations and developments.
At the request of our customer it is also possible to analyse and test the air-prominent periphery of the actual climatic box from the intake to the exhaust, in order to opti-mize the interaction of the components according to the customer’s requirements and to bail the potentials.
The measuring and analysis technology "Multi.HFM" developed by the company M.TEC permits to map up to 32 partial air mass streams of the air conditioning sys-tem at the test stand e.g. at the exhausts at the same time.
Together with the measurement of the acoustics and the temperature distribution dur-ing the simultaneous simulation of the real intake pressure and the internal cabin pressure this results in a reproducible and accurate statement about the later vehicle comfort.
These accurate results of measurement can be used for the specification examina-tion as well as for the difficult field of the adjustment of the climate control because of their force of expression. Furthermore they serve for the comprehensive evaluation of assumption parts and concepts in an early stage.
Our achievements in the field of an holistic project support, the plastics and flow technical development, our measuring procedures and their analysis take place on the high level, which you can expect from an customer-oriented engineering com-pany with experiences in the automotive industry.
