With vehicle components or consumer goods we can identify disturbing sound sources with binaural radiographic technique and analyse these to provide a basis for constructive elimination of this malfunction. The focus is always on determining and eliminating the cause of the sound source instead of being content with just masking the sound. M.TEC uses a system by HEAD Acoustics with which we can not only carry out all common analyses, e.g. FFT-Analyses and order analyses, but also show psychoacoustic values like loudness and sharpness. The recordings can be converted into DAT, WAV and MP3 file formats.
